I will say that (in my limited experience) I am sad that the survival aspect that drove the first game seems heavily toned down, because it is usually the urgency and scarcity that drives this Sunless Sea-style type of narrative. I will reserve my judgement until I have played more though. I mean, story is great, I recommend, etc., but the heists are not an improvement. If you don’t get good dice luck, there’s no chance to clear them on the first time through, because you’ll inevitably push your luck in a way that seems fine but turns out to be a little too risky, or you’ll invest resources finishing a clock that turns out to unlock a pile of scrap that you have to finish another clock to get.
