Study the 3D map carefully and use the innovative timeline system to move and synchronize your team. Coordinate your movements, grenades and room entries to take the enemy by surprise. There are things about this game that I really like, and find myself thinking about it in between gaming sessions, which is always a good sign.

The customization is a little frustrating and buggy (I try to switch colors on the hats, and the entire outfit changes?!?), and the SMGs feel like dogwater compared to shotguns, but getting the plan dialied in and executing a flawless mission feels great. My biggest complaint is the campaign mission difficulty swings. Other reviewers have mentioned the frustrating “all or nothing” campaign states (either you win and take all injuries/rewards, or you fail and get to try again) but even that is less annoying than the wild changes in challenge when trying the same map again.
