Oracle Saitaro and his Festival Troops are using a bizarre festival to take over Japan. Bakeru travels to 47 Japanese prefectures to free Japan from the grip of evil spirits! Spectacular action set in fairy tale Japan! Bakeru takes place in “Fairy Tale Japan,” a mix of modern Japan and old period dramas, which is divided into more than 50 stages. I Really like this game alot. The level are decent for the most part (not a big fan of ones where you climb the castles) but majority are very pleasing to look at and the collectibles are pretty charming though wish it was all japan fact and not some being random fact in general. There’s definitely issue with the game like how you can’t jump over rails or jump off them, the game want you to follow a certain path in a certain way.

The henge are also pretty fun to look at and play around even if momotaro and urashima taro feel the same to me. There’s also the fact the game is more geared toward kids so don’t expect much difficulty and just enjoy the ride. Cute game. Super Mario 3D World with Goemon-like aesthetic, with stronger focus on movement and combat. Collected everything and completed the story. Could probably get another 5-10 hours of game if I wanted all achievements, but no hit boss achievements are a bit of a grind. My biggest con is that the game is not multiplayer. The best part of Super Mario 3D World is the co-op, and for a game heavily inspired by it, it’s odd they did not include that. Dead Island 2
