Create unique builds for every car and test them in an open world full of challenges. Fix cars, tune them up, and hit the road. Underground Garage is not a bad game. As with any early access title, there are some bugs. At the time of this review’s writing, the game has 8 hours worth of content. You can beat the ‘story’ mode and unlock all achievements in that time. While playing, I have not had any performance issues, but there were two fatal Unreal Engine crashes. If you like Car Mechanic Simulator, you will like this game as it has similarities, but expands on those with an open world and some customization. Empires of the Undergrowth
Further, if you damage your vehicle, instead of parts just breaking and needing repair, they physically detach and fly off the vehicle. By the time you get back to the garage, you’ll likely need to buy new bumpers, glass, etc. because they’ll be missing. If vehicles handled correctly and were controllable, this would not be an issue. It has potential, but needs improvement. This game is great, controller support is a huge plus. Keep in mind, early stages still. Small things need tweaking. But, overall, Fantastic game. Takes me back to the old Redline game (customization not the racing aspect). The only thing I could wish for would be the ability to sell cars. However, I can’t wait to see where this game ends up.
