It’s pretty chill for a survival horror game (you can literally replenish all your health in bathroom sinks), but it gets really fun when you’re dealing with bigger hordes of monsters. What I liked the most, though, is the number of decisions you can make that impact the lives of other characters. Most of the time, they aren’t even clear-cut right-or-wrong choices, which keeps you constantly wondering whether you’re just dooming yourself even further. Unmitigated banger, working on a lot of levels – just a flat-out great game with an excellent story, great characters, and something new to say about the nature of love in plenty of forms.
