if you like monster hunter and pokemon do yourself a favor and buy this game (and monster hunter stories 2 after). these games are genuinely top 10 favorite games of all time for me. i originally played monster hunter stories on my Nintendo DS as a kid, and seeing it be revitalized into a PC format is just- down right amazing. i will say the controls aren’t the most amazing thing ive seen, being translated from a DS base into steam- but the loyalty to the original game makes it worth it. 10 stars, thank you capcom for bringing my favorite game new life.
