“I Am Cat” is a sandbox adventure centered around a cat protagonist. Granny’s house becomes your personal playground. Unfortunately many people suffer from a lack of reading comprehension skills and think you need to buy the dlc to access the full game. Though, Part of this is due to there being no real tutorial that explains you unlock the garage by participating in the “story” and halfway through the first area, you unlock a secret room that has options to buy the dlc pack and it heavily implies a need to pay. So it’s both the devs, and players faults. The tutorial needs to be updated to explain that players gain access to new locations naturally, or the devs need to find a way to let players know spending on the dlc pack is cosmetc only/ a fast track for locations and isn’t a must, to play the full game.
