Atomic Picnic is a bullet heaven-inspired third-person roguelike shooter! Dive into adrenaline-fueled, high-octane arenas with up to four friends to fight hordes of monsters. Gain experience and upgrade your weapons and skills to create the best build possible to survive. Every Picnic is different, with upgrades that can radically change how you play. So far it feels a bit uninspired and bland. Crab Champions far outpaces this game for gunplay and build crafting and its half the price. I’m hopeful they will add more but currently there is only like 10 perks you can even get in a run so it all feels pretty repetitive. It has good bones, if they can expand on it they will have a good game but currently it needs quite a bit of work before release. the bugs are manageable, its early access game afterall. But its not bringing a whole lot to the table so far. The DioField Chronicle Switch NSP

Game needs a bit more time in the oven. Maybe it’s a skill issue but it just seems impossible unless you get certain builds, especially in the later levels. I do think the only real gripe I have is the areas that you’re forced to stand in, since you not only have to fight a million enemies at once, but the area is constantly bombarded with missiles. Unless you have damage resistance or healing, the game expects perfection. Playing Solo until they bring in matchmaking for online co-op (if they do). Spray and Pray style. Heavily relies on fast reload mechanic like from Gears of War. Scratches the Risk of Rain 2 feel.
