Ballionaire is a physics-driven roguelike full of kinetic chaos! Build the perfect pachinko board and trigger insane combos. Break the game with rule-bending boons. Overcome arduous tribulations as you climb the ranks of the Ballionaires. That said, it took me all of 5–6 hours to unlock absolutely everything and beat the hardest difficulty, and now there’s nothing left to do. That is a crying shame for a game that’s an absolute blast despite the occasional bit of frustrating RNG. I’m sure more interesting stuff’ll be along in the future, but as of right now it’s quite light on content. Grocery Store Simulator
My other main gripe is that once you’ve found a good strategy, there’s no incentive whatsoever to switch to another. I got through every single map and difficulty with exactly the same style of play, and none of the special boss powers (called Tribulations) really hindered me. That’s in contrast to e.g. Balatro, where many of the boss powers require forward planning, lest they hard counter your finely-crafted deck.
