This game has a fantastic campaign, one of the best world war 2 campaigns available on PC. Great graphics, sound and gameplay. Fantastic story. If you like world war 2 shooters this is one of the best you can get. The only real problem with this game is its price. We are close to the game being 7 years old and its still £45 when not on sale. This is due to the disgraceful pricing practices of Activision. It’s only worth picking up when its on a deep sale. Even then I have found the sale price to be more in line with what the real price should be rather than it being a “good deal”. RimWorld
Call of Duty: WWII is one of the best WW2 campaign shooters I’ve played on PC. The story has depth, the characters are well developed and the missions are well structured. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, authentically showcasing the atrocities and brutality of this event in human history. The game takes around 6 to 8 hours to complete on regular difficulty. You may struggle with a few missions if you play on a harder difficulty, as can be expected from a Call of Duty Veteran/Realistic difficulty playthrough. It’s crazy to think that this is the studio that goes on to create the dumpster fire known as Call of Duty: Vanguard. What a vast difference in approach of how to make a Call of Duty campaign mode.
