Charles is a bloodthirsty train, and you need to destroy him. These winding tracks are treacherous, so you’ll need to plan each mission carefully. Be wary when traveling on foot, or switching the track’s direction; Charles might be waiting for you. Go looting or complete missions to find “Scraps”, which can be used to turn your train into a death machine on wheels. It’s all fun and games, cruising down the track in your little safe haven of a train, until you hear the ominous sound of a low train whistle in the distance, getting closer and closer.. and He is upon you. This game is super fun, keeps you on-edge and is a delight to play. It took me three hours to complete (do what you will with that information). While I know it will probably never happen, but co-op in this game would be SO much fun. Props to the dev for the great work. Valheim
I loved this game’s goofy brand of horror! Sure, it’s short, and the quests have zero depth, but something about the mechanic and atmosphere resonated with me. Great stuff for a solo dev (I didn’t encounter any of the bugs which other reviews mention). I’d suggest waiting for a sale as the $20 asking price is way to steep. This is a well made came with an amazing atmosphere that gets you to stay paranoid throughout the whole game. The voice lines are made well enough, and the world is well built. There isn’t too much in this game, in fact you could play a whole play-through in an hour and a half, but I loved getting all the quests done, and finishing all the achievements. TLDR, Buy this game.
