The story is fun and like all DMC games the actual lore of the series is never given outright but actually spread out through Key Items and weapon descriptions. I call it “The story of the gaps”. The only reason to get this version is for modding and I found that process to be such a headache that I’ve concluded it’s just not worth it. HD collection or emulation ftw.
