The amount of voiced lines, interactions with the main character, distinct locations, interesting puzzles, slight revisions to combat, main story / lore trying to tie-in with the original Half-Life universe; there really is a lot in this package and it’s incredible to know there are still passionate developers working on Source engine and Valve’s beloved HL/Portal material. Amazing game. Love the perspective change, it feels like a wonderful half-life expansion, but better. Also, love that they use some Epistile 3 things and also love that they used beta tools But let me tell you, what I was thinking back then, which I still continue to think after doing another playthrough is – to me, this is officially a part of my Half-Life/Portal head canon. It’s just so well done, everything from the hilarious jokes and pop culture references to the in depth dialogue is just completely on point. All well done.
