It has a good story, plenty of side quests, and endless replay-ability. The V.A.T.S. fighting system doesn’t work as well as it did in previous games, but free aim is better. I love my mutant friends! I’ve played this for so many hours but I haven’t actually finished the story. I quit playing it just before the DLC’s came out because I wanted to play them too and never have gone back to it. I will someday. That’s not my Neighbor

Tried to return it on steam. Now have over 200 hours on it. I tried it at first, didn’t love it as much as I loved New Vegas or Fallout 3. I got sick and ended up loading it up once again after trying to return it, but it was too late. I ended up falling in love with the game, enjoying the quests, settlement building, and companions. A great game to play on Steam Deck. Exploring the world has been a wonderful experience. I definitely don’t regret trying it out again. A lot of people disparage this game but I have loved it and the graphics and game play. I can’t wait for a Fallout V and the show on Amazon is badass even if you’ve never played the game.
