Secondly in terms of player control there is also the levelup system which is a massive upgrade as compared to Risk of Rain in my opinion. Instead of just a generic stat upgrade to damage and health. You actually get to select from a selection from 3 different stat upgrades each level. And every 5 levels you get to select a special upgrade for 1 of your 4 abilities. And these upgrades aren’t just simple stat upgrades either. They can grant the ability healing, chance to activate it again, can add debuffs to enemies and many more options.
