With deliberate, calculated and unforgiving gameplay, GROUND BRANCH aims to be the true rebirth of the tactical realism genre of the late ’90s and early 2000s. Powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, GB puts the “tactical” back in “tactical shooter”—no compromises. First time when we see the steam page we know that GROUND BRANCH is a first-person tactical shooter focusing on CQB, team tactics and communication. The tags “Tactical” “Realistic” are absolutely true and hit the nail.

Looking at the whole story of the game and mainly the trials it went through, or the passion that is put into it (despite the unsuccessful Kickstarter they did not give up as far as I know, however, the concept remained, and in time were working on the game as a side project for several years). Controls are really intuitive despite complex weapon mechanics and handling. Graphics are fine, cool reflections in muddy puddles or on subway floors.
