House of Necrosis Overview
House of Necrosis is a turn-based horror RPG, inspired by the early 3D Survival Horror games of the 90s. Experience turn-based dungeon-crawling as well as the tank-controlled hubworld, complete with pre-rendered backgrounds! Level up your character and upgrade your weapons while making your way through a house of horror. Wander through the endless halls of the mansion that change every time you enter. Inspired by the 32-bit classics, House of Necrosis looks and feels like your favorite 90s games. Conceptually super interesting. LUMINES REMASTERED
It’s a dead simple mystery dungeon style roguelike that leans into its resident evil flavor by focusing on resource management. Meta-progression means developing more resources to manage. Also, if you die you lose your gear. Your gear is almost the only thing you carry with you between dungeon runs, and progressing your gear is vital to progressing into the lower floors. Your level resets when you leave the dungeon. And the damage of enemies on later floors is pretty cranked. You need equivalent equipment to fight them. All of these things in combination mean you *always* have to repeat lower floors when you do a run—you need the exp and items—and this can make it pretty tedious to progress.
