Kingdoms of the Dump Might Be the Best Indie JRPG of the Year |Review|
This game is so far unreasonably good in terms of flair. It captures the feel of chrono trigger and secret of mana, as well as final fantasy jrpgs all in one in the best possible way. The banger trailer really holds up and it feel great without the slog that often was the first 2 hours of snes era jrpgs/rpgs. The setting is incredibly charming as well and my only regret so far is to have to stop after 40 minutes for the time being. Definitely better than all the square enix reboots and still better than many other games trying to replice the snes era nostalgia. JIANGHU CHRONICLES
