Kon’s Lesson! The Nine-tail Fox Spirit is said to have divided into nine distinct spirits by splitting all nine of her tails. These spirits are capable of granting human wishes, but “offerings” must be provided in order for the want to be granted. One spirit in particular traveled to a country in the far east among many other split spirits. She finally lured a lot of people until the Onmyoji discovered her; as a kind of punishment, they imprisoned the immortal creature behind a stone.
