Having played the initial tutorial level, but needing to shut off for the night for work in the morning, really liking what I’ve played so far. This game will definitely benefit from some open-ended sandbox Campaign mode like Mercs has, but playing a linear story mode already makes it somewhat better than Mercs in a few ways. The combat has a great feel like all Mechwarrior games do Modernized controls for people new to the series Cut scenes are rendered well with a great modern shine Very neat new features with scanning, hacking, and the new Battlemap to control your team better than ever.
