One of the most badass games ever made. It’s sad we don’t get games like this in 2024 anymore. Games that don’t hold any punches in their story and combat. We need more games with dismemberment like this too. I hope the next MGS story has balls like this one and Phantom Pain. Tired of the safe and weak story telling so many games have now because they are too afraid to offend people with 20 self diagnosed mental illnesses and can’t handle anything that offends them in the slightest. This game aged really well, beautiful OST, amazing boss fights with good replayability, the game makes you feel powerful on your second or third runs, the cutting mechanic is good aswell. My only complaint is that the game is short and the VR missions are a pain.
