The core gameplay and the one you’ll spend the most time in is the No-Skin mode with the goal of getting to 100% (at first). Essentially though, the game is all about managing resources. Understanding which rooms to go for if you need life/ammo/instant damage, fishing for upgrades/shops and fighting enemies with minimal resource loss. For me at least this system was fairly simple (having beaten the game past Faith 4 + extra bosses) and for the most part it wasn’t very difficult. Which is perfectly fine, but one of the core problems the game has is tedium.
