You will never see any crazy damage numbers or build a lot of towers, as upgrades are rare/expensive and building towers of the same type is discouraged by making it cripplingly expensive, while simultaneously encouraged by making some flatly better than others. I wish I could build more towers, have a little spectacle on my screen, see a bit of “number go up” and not spend 5min managing worker allocation and split spending back into my economy or into defenses just to pry an extra 10% damage for a single tower from the hands of this stingy game! Every game feels samey, I try different things but I lose around wave 20 every time, even after dozens of meta unlocks. Pacify
