A new RPG from the hugely popular manga and anime series ONE PIECE, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the series! The famed pirate, Monkey.D.Luffy, better known as Straw Hat Luffy, and his Straw Hat Crew, are sailing across the New World in search of the next island and the next adventure that awaits them. I really wasn’t expecting much coming into this game, but Odyssey manages to be somewhat enjoyable, with its main draw being its story and faithfulness to the characters and previous arcs in the main series. Fans of the manga or anime should enjoy the many callbacks to Alabasta, Water 7, Marineford, and Dressrosa as you explore these locations and meet old friends yourself. Mutilate-a-Doll 2
While the overall story was decent, I did find the ending unfortunately rather rushed. But I can’t complain, because IMO everything was still better than any One Piece movie I’ve ever seen. This could’ve been an actual canon arc within the main storyline and I don’t think anyone would mind. I just don’t see this game as worth playing over the countless other games out there. And definitely get this game on sale, because it is way too overpriced for what it offers.
