Thankfully it’s still the dumb, funny, clunky-beautiful game it always has been. Would still recommend it to anyone with a puerile sense of humor that also enjoys movies like Evil Dead 2 and Dead Alive. Alright, let’s get the important stuff out of the way first. The remaster could be better. There are no video options beyond brightness, and the keyboard and mouse controls are only rebindable with a utility you have to use before you launch the game, though mouse sensitivity and camera speed can be changed at any time. I get that this is using very old tech and probably a nightmare to reverse engineer for modern standards a decade after the fact, but it is disappointing.
