SMT III NOCTURNE will take no moment to hold your hand or show you any kindness. Where nocturne excels is in its story, SMT nocturne’s story starts off a little slowly and methodically but by the end of the game it becomes absolutely peak storytelling and its totally worth dealing with any of the other negative aspects of the game. SMT3 is a good game if you’re really into turn based combat grind. Skill advancement and monster recruitment and development are all very solid. There just isn’t anything else. Nothing beyond the barest of minimum stories, level design, and interactions. This is like playing Persona only for the randomized dungeons.
