In this narrative-driven, third-person survival horror game set 300 years in the future, the player will take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos. To survive, Jacob must battle his way to safety to escape Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath the surface of Callisto. Using a unique blend of shooting and close-quarters combat, Jacob will need to adapt his tactics to combat the rapidly evolving creatures while scavenging to unlock new weapons, gear, and abilities to outrun the growing threat and escape the horrors of Jupiter’s Dead Moon. Only gripe from this game is that anytime you would finally meet up with Elias or Dani you would some how magically fall into the abyss where you’re stranded all alone again.. never allowing a team fight or anything. It’s all this game needed. Very gory, action packed and lots of jump scares (if you’re into that). 8/10. That being said, the game is actually not bad. It’s gory, combat system is well designed – to my taste complicated just enough. Story is… Not too gripping so far, but then, I’ve only done two missions. Again, enemy variety is good. You can explore a bit, there is stealth, enemies pack a good punch forcing you to pay attention. Basically it’s really, really not a bad way to spend time.
