This is a road trip game in an almost infinite random generated desert. The focus is on freedom, driving, exploration and immersion. It has minimal car maintenance and survival elements. This game is like your first car: nasty, rusty, full of trash and bugs, and more than likely needs a complete rebuild. But without all the bugs, trash, and rust, you would lose the soul of it. Getting to the end isn’t a celebratory achievement. It’s depressing knowing your journey is over, nowhere to go except into the vast nothingness of the map. All that’s left to do is to make your final save, and exit the game until you yearn to play it again the next year. Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY PC

The Long Drive Steam-Game:

Here’s hoping the game gets an update in the next year or 4. 7/10 would Drive very Long again. Despite simplistic graphics on the surface, it has pretty deep vehicle mechanics and very addictive slow paced gameplay, perfect for listening to a podcast or in-game radio while having a long drive. Love collecting car parts in a randomly generated world and create a monster out of mismatching engine and wheels. Dev, if you are reading this, thank you and please expand on the game, as it for sure is deserving of early access badge at the moment.
