A memorable cast of offbeat villains, bosses, and associates. Original soundtrack by renowned chiptune composer Rainbowdragoneyes, handmade using Famitracker. After that, the structure shifts into a more traditional metroidvania loop where you revisit areas and collect musical notes. That is where I personally checked out. Not because it is bad design, but because I had already gotten what I wanted most from the game, the Ninja Gaiden vibes, and I was not excited to backtrack through earlier zones to complete a checklist.
