Valheim is a brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally-generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Your character doesn’t gain hp and stamina permanently, ever. Instead your stats are based on the quality of food you eat, which means you need to carry progressively more “expensive” food on you, constantly make more of it, and constantly farm the ingredients, even if it means you need to stop your adventure and go back to the starting lands to get something. Actually, everything you carry will get progressively more “expensive” and sad to lose, especially when playing with even 3-5 people may make your game significantly more tedious, because if you’re not the first to explore dungeons and other locations you’ll need to travel further, possibly requiring a boat earlier or more often than others, becuase as per game design (luckily you can change it but the game advises you against it) you can’t travel through portals carrying essential ingredients (metals), and those are usually scarce to begin with, as well as items requiring them seem to become more and more expensive (to make and upgrade fully) as you progress to higher tiers.
