The coming of the Red Star heralds a new age. Emerging from its cocoon, the Simulacrum is driven to collect Ichor, the blood of the gods, from the monstrosities who hoard it. Voidwrought is a fast-paced action-platformer with tight traversal, varied abilities, and formidable boss battles. Find and equip powerful Relics and Souls to customize your playstyle. Excavate into the rubble of the Gray City to construct a shrine filled with loyal followers. If you’re into them more for tension and satisfying combat I would say pass. The combat has promise but the game is laughably easy after like 2 or 3 bosses. If you want a game that’s longer than ~13-15 hours, I’d pass as well (took me 10 to true ending, a couple of those hours was rescouring map to unlock the true ending).
Awesome metroidvania. You can feel the love that was put into this game, from the outstanding art, great level design and gameplay. As others have said the start is a bit hard but soon after you start to get pretty powerful. I had a great time backtracking in this game and the whole world was thought out well. Game is quite short and quite easy, though. If you’re into Metroidvanias for the map exploration and movement upgrades and collecting I would say it’s a buy. If you want a brisk, competently done by the numbers metroidvania I’d also say buy. It’s Only Money
