Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch. Just killed the last boss currently in the game, and Wow, what a great shooter. The guns feel great, the dodging and spells feel amazing really felt good finding hidden treasures and loot that I would take back and turn into part of my main items. I can’t wait for more guns and gear to try out! I only suffered a few minor bugs, one boss fight didn’t end when I killed the boss and I was left just waiting for time to run out, another one caused my frames to drop below (briefly) playable when the boss did some moves with all the things I was doing at the same time to try to kill the boss. a very satisfying shooter with great gun play, an amazing feel, and a good learning curve. The biggest issue currently is I just want more guns to shoot at more enemies…. and that is a very good problem for a game like this to have. Definitely far above average difficulty…. Enemies in this game will kill you in 3 hits melee or ranged so you need to use environment and movement all the time. You have to use all your weapons , all your spells and all your extra abilities combined with using the environment and movement to a kinda skilled extend or you will constantly die to everything.
